Hotel Ideal - Piraeus

The clean room was good, while the polite staff were always ready to assist, we felt welcome. The shower setup required holding the showerhead, less convenient, and one nightlight couldn't be turned off were good. Great for a brief stop before heading to the port.

All good - we liked this good budget hotel - the food was great and the staff were outstandingly accommodating and super-friendly. The room was great-sized and brand-new and had all the facilities.

Great hotel walk from a port. Bright and absolutely perfect room and compact bathroom with a shower and hairdryers. Exceptionally nice breakfast with a lot of nice foods. Great location and a lot of bars and restaurants nearby. A lot of food options at a moderate distance from the venue...

Really noisy area.

We had a quick overnight stay as we were catching a ferry the next morning. The room was simple but met our needs with a clean bathroom and functioning air conditioner. The best part was the hospitality from the staff, especially a young lady who helped us with everything we needed. The location next to the ferry terminal made our morning much easier, and despite the neighborhood being a bit busy, it suited our purpose just fine.

Location adjacent to harbour, Pasalimani, which sells coffee too and is called "Beneth pastry food hall " and the airport. Lots of nice breakfast items to choose from.

The rooms facing the inner court were very noisy due to the air conditioning elements even with the windows closed.

Helpful staff made our stay more comfortable.

The shower setup was quite inconvenient, as I had to hold the showerhead during my entire shower. The nightlight in the room wouldn't turn off. The entire experience left me feeling frustrated and not as relaxed as I had hoped for my brief stay.

Worth for the money I paid. I was in room with view on the yard, it was quite calm but the street side didn't seem that noisy. There were always people in front of the hotel but there are clean, quite. The hotel doesn't seems unsafe to me. Very good location if you have to go to the Island. Metro line connects you to Athens in about 45min (30 min metro and about 15 to go to metro station by bus). Consistent breakfast!

Too bad breakfast in included in the room price. Breakfast is not buffet. A bit far from metro and bus from airport: 10 to 15 min walk.

Request free coffee from reception for an easy morning before heading to the port, making your departure smoother and more enjoyable.

the hotel was located just next door to pasalimani, which sells coffee too and is called "beneth pastry food hall ", ferry dock, archeology museum and bus to airport and the ferries to the islands. the staff was amazingly nice and accommodating all the time. a good choice of food for breakfast, it was fab. had a great stay for the price, would recomand this place.

Convenient location, close to the Hertz rental car as well as the port of Athens.

The street which the hotel is on is a little sketchy.

Had a blast at Ideal! The vegetarian dishes nearby, like at Italida Restaurant, were a flavor explosion! The staff were super cooperative. Plus, the cozy, clean room was perfect after exploring the vibrant neighborhood.

No curtain in the shower. The neighbourhood, where the hotel is situated, is a bit run-down and dirty.

This hotel is conveniently located next to the port. If you are getting off a cruise you can walk to this hotel from the dock. Make sure you get a map ahead of time as the information desk at the port was not helpful with directions and didn't have a detailed map. The room is basic but clean. 20-30 minute walk to the beaches and 5 minutes to the metro that goes into Athens.
